Hafr Al-Batin Municipality celebrated Saudi Flag Day, observed annually on 11 March, through a series of symbolic activities reflecting the significance of the Saudi flag as a symbol of national unity, pride, and identity.
As part of the celebration, the Saudi flag was raised on the main flagpole at the Flagpole Square, in a scene that embodied the values of patriotism and national pride while reaffirming the flag's enduring significance in the history and identity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Municipality also decorated major roads and key thoroughfares across the governorate with Saudi flags and displayed congratulatory messages on digital roadside screens, enabling the community to participate in this national occasion and fostering the values of loyalty and belonging.
The Municipality emphasized that the celebration of Saudi Flag Day reflects the profound symbolism of the Saudi flag, which represents unity, strength, justice, and prosperity, and proudly bears the Islamic declaration of faith upon which this blessed nation was founded.
This participation forms part of the Municipality's ongoing efforts to commemorate national occasions and enhance their presence within the urban landscape of the governorate, thereby strengthening national identity and encouraging community engagement in celebrating the Kingdom's national symbols.
