About Hafr Al-Batin Municipality

Hafr Al-Batin Municipality was established in 1357 AH and has since witnessed continuous growth in its responsibilities and scope of work. Throughout its development, the Municipality has overseen the approval of residential and commercial master plans, implemented infrastructure projects, developed parks and public facilities, and delivered a wide range of municipal services. In 1439 AH, a Council of Ministers Resolution elevated the organisational status of Hafr Al-Batin Municipality to Hafr Al-Batin Municipality (Amanah), expanding its mandate to supervise the municipalities across the governorate while strengthening its municipal and urban development responsibilities.

Municipal Affairs Agency

Responsible for supervising the seven affiliated municipalities, licensing and regulatory compliance, customer experience (940), and visual pollution management.

Projects Agency

Coordinating major development projects, supervising roads, lighting, and drainage projects, preparing engineering designs, and improving traffic safety.

Services Agency

Responsible for environmental protection, public cleanliness, operation and maintenance, food laboratories, and cemetery services.

Urban Planning and Land Agency

Urban development planning, surveying, street naming and addressing, land grants, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

Privatisation & Sustainability

Investment management, investment contracts, marketing, revenue collection, and ensuring financial sustainability.
