Hafr Al-Batin Municipality Launches Neighbourhood Parks Development Campaign to Enhance Quality of Life and Green Spaces

Hafr Al-Batin Municipality has launched a comprehensive campaign to develop and rehabilitate neighbourhood parks across the governorate as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the urban landscape and improve quality of life, in line with urban development objectives and the concept of human-centred public spaces.

The campaign includes the development of a number of parks across different neighbourhoods, including Al-Safa Park, Al-Rayyan Park, Al-Mohammadiyah Park, Al-Sulaymaniyah Park, Al-Wurud Park, Al-Maseef Park, two parks in Al-Waha District, Al-Wadi Park, South Flij Valley Park, three parks in Al-Faisaliyah District, and six parks in Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari District.

The campaign aims to improve public facilities within the parks by developing green areas, upgrading irrigation systems, rehabilitating pathways and landscaped areas, modernizing children's playgrounds and seating areas, and enhancing safety features and lighting, contributing to the provision of a safe and attractive recreational environment for families.

The Municipality confirmed that the development of parks is one of the key pillars of improving the urban landscape and increasing green spaces, positively impacting public health and social well-being while strengthening the role of parks as vibrant community spaces for residents' daily activities.

This campaign is an extension of the Municipality’s programmes aimed at creating a greener and more sustainable city, enhancing quality of life, transforming neighbourhoods into integrated environments that support community interaction, and reflecting the aesthetic identity of Hafr Al-Batin Governorate.
