“Bastat Khair Saudi Arabia 2026” Initiative Launches in Hafr Al-Batin Governorate

The “Bastat Khair Saudi Arabia 2026” initiative officially launched today, on the seventh day of the holy month of Ramadan, in Hafr Al-Batin Governorate. The initiative is organized by Hafr Al-Batin Municipality with the support of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing’s Street Vendors Empowerment Team, as part of national efforts to regulate street vending activities, empower vendors, and enhance their contribution to the local economy during the holy month of Ramadan.

The initiative forms part of the Ministry’s broader strategy to support, empower, and develop the street vending sector by creating a safe and well-organized business environment, improving compliance with health and regulatory requirements, enhancing service quality, and contributing to a more attractive urban landscape across cities and governorates.

The initiative is being held at three locations across Hafr Al-Batin Governorate and is designed to support 80 street vendors by providing fully equipped and organized vending sites that enable them to conduct their businesses in accordance with regulatory requirements, while creating greater economic opportunities and improving operational efficiency.

Hafr Al-Batin Municipality stated that the initiative will continue until the end of the holy month of Ramadan, emphasizing that it reflects the strong collaboration between the Ministry and municipalities in supporting local development, empowering street vendors, promoting an organized business culture, and advancing the objectives of quality of life and sustainable development.
