Hafr Al-Batin Municipality Implements Seven New U-Turns to Enhance Road Safety and Improve Traffic Flow

Hafr Al-Batin Municipality has completed a traffic improvement project aimed at enhancing road safety and improving the driving experience by constructing seven new U-turns along several major roads and arterial streets across the governorate, as part of its ongoing efforts to develop transportation infrastructure.

The Municipality explained that the project included the construction of three U-turns on Prince Naif Road, in addition to one U-turn each on Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari Road, Omar bin Al-Khattab Road, Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Road, and Tariq bin Ziyad Road. The locations were carefully selected based on specialized traffic studies.

The Municipality stated that the project forms part of its plans to improve traffic organization, reduce safety risks at intersections, and alleviate congestion, particularly on roads with high traffic volumes, thereby contributing to enhanced road safety.

Hafr Al-Batin Municipality confirmed that the works were carried out in accordance with approved engineering standards and under continuous field supervision to ensure high-quality implementation and the achievement of the intended objectives. The project is part of a broader package of development initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency of the road network and enhancing the quality of life in Hafr Al-Batin Governorate.
