Hafr Al-Batin Municipality Launches the Second Phase of the Building Compliance Certificate, Targeting 2,418 Buildings
Hafr Al-Batin Municipality has announced the launch of the second phase of the Building Compliance Certificate initiative as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the urban landscape and improve quality of life, in line with the governorate’s urban development objectives.
The Municipality stated that the second phase targets 2,418 buildings across its sub-municipalities and affiliated municipalities. The sub-municipalities of East Hafr Al-Batin, South Hafr Al-Batin, and West Hafr Al-Batin account for 2,022 buildings, while the affiliated municipalities of Al-Su'ayrah, Al-Qaisumah, Al-Dhibiyah, and Al-Sadawi account for 396 buildings.
The Municipality further explained that the second phase covers 117 urban corridors. The compliance criteria include building façades, commercial signage, external facilities, and standards relating to safety and the overall appearance of buildings. These measures aim to reduce visual distortion and create a more organized and attractive urban environment.
Hafr Al-Batin Municipality encouraged building owners to use the Balady application to review compliance requirements, verify the compliance status of their properties, and access the Building Compliance Map. The Municipality emphasized that adhering to these requirements contributes to improving neighbourhood quality and enhancing the overall urban landscape.
The launch of the second phase forms part of a series of municipal initiatives aimed at regulating the urban environment, encouraging compliance with municipal regulations, and creating a more attractive and sustainable environment for residents and visitors alike.
