Hafr Al-Batin Municipality Organizes International Anti-Corruption Day Activities in Collaboration with the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority

Hafr Al-Batin Municipality organized activities marking the International Anti-Corruption Day in collaboration with the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha), as part of its efforts to promote the values of integrity and transparency and enhance institutional awareness among its employees.

The activities included an awareness pavilion set up in the Municipality’s main lobby, featuring educational and informational materials, in addition to the presence of specialists who answered employees’ inquiries and highlighted the role of integrity in safeguarding public funds and enhancing institutional performance.

The programme also included a workshop delivered by specialists from the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority, focusing on the importance of transparency, the objectives of combating corruption, and the role of employees in reporting violations and complying with regulations and procedures, contributing to the establishment of a workplace culture founded on responsibility and accountability.

At the conclusion of the event, Hafr Al-Batin Municipality Mayor Eng. Khalaf bin Hamdan Al-Otaibi expressed his appreciation to the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority for its cooperation and active participation. He commended its efforts in promoting a culture of integrity and strengthening institutional awareness, reaffirming the Municipality’s commitment to continuing such meaningful awareness initiatives.
