On Behalf of the Governor of Hafr Al-Batin, the Mayor Inaugurates the Governorate’s Second Periodic Vehicle Inspection Center

On behalf of His Royal Highness the Governor of Hafr Al-Batin, Hafr Al-Batin Municipality Mayor Eng. Khalaf bin Hamdan Al-Otaibi inaugurated the governorate’s second Periodic Vehicle Inspection Center on the morning of Tuesday, 16 December 2025, in the presence of a number of officials and senior representatives from relevant entities.

During the inauguration, the Mayor toured the facility, where he reviewed the operational procedures and the various stages of the vehicle inspection process. He also received a briefing on the technical procedures and advanced technologies adopted at the center.

The Executive Director of the Hafr Al-Batin Periodic Vehicle Inspection Center stated that the launch of the new facility is part of ongoing efforts to enhance road safety, reduce vehicle mechanical failures, and lower environmental emissions, contributing to improving the quality of life across the governorate.

At the conclusion of the inauguration, the Mayor urged vehicle owners to ensure that their vehicles undergo periodic inspection within the prescribed schedules to promote public safety and comply with the Kingdom’s Traffic Law and its implementing regulations.
