The festival was inaugurated by the Governorate Undersecretary, Mr. Khalid Al-Kharboush, in the presence of representatives from government entities, farmers, and stakeholders in the agricultural and livestock sectors.
The Municipality’s participation reflects its ongoing efforts to enhance vegetation cover and promote environmental sustainability. Through its pavilion, the Municipality showcased its key initiatives implemented across the governorate, including projects that have contributed to increasing afforestation, developing parks, maintaining valleys and green spaces, and improving quality of life in alignment with the objectives of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing and Saudi Vision 2030.
The Municipality’s participation will continue throughout the three-day festival, during which it will present an overview of its environmental programmes, in addition to awareness initiatives designed to educate residents and visitors about environmental protection, preserving vegetation cover, and the importance of sustainability in agricultural practices.
Hafr Al-Batin Municipality affirmed that its participation in the festival reflects its commitment to supporting the agricultural and livestock sectors, while continuing its efforts to raise community awareness and support initiatives that contribute to the sustainable development of the governorate.
