In the Presence of His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Hafr Al-Batin Municipality Signs the Excavation and Building Violations Monitoring Project at Cityscape Global 2025

Hafr Al-Batin Municipality, in the presence of His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Municipalities and Housing, signed the contract for the Excavation and Building Violations Monitoring Project during its participation in Cityscape Global 2025. The project forms part of the Municipality’s efforts to enhance the efficiency of municipal oversight, strengthen compliance with regulations and standards, and create a safer and more organized urban environment.

The project aims to regulate excavation activities and monitor building violations throughout the governorate by developing field inspection and monitoring mechanisms, establishing clear compliance standards, and leveraging partnerships with specialized entities to ensure high-quality implementation and more effective handling of observations. It also supports urban transformation, improves the visual landscape, and reduces risks associated with unauthorized excavations and non-compliant construction activities.

The project covers a number of vital public facilities across the governorate, including water and wastewater networks, roads, public facilities, and lands and sites affected by excavations or encroachments. Through this initiative, the Municipality seeks to safeguard infrastructure and protect essential service locations.

Hafr Al-Batin Municipality affirmed that this step reflects its commitment to achieving the objectives of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing and Saudi Vision 2030 by enhancing quality of life, improving the efficiency of municipal services, and supporting sustainable urban development for a more organized and prosperous future for the governorate and its residents.
