Hafr Al-Batin Municipality Concludes the “Hala Bilwasm” Event to Raise Awareness About the Rainy and Flood Season

Hafr Al-Batin Municipality has concluded the “Hala Bilwasm” event, organized as part of its awareness campaign for the rainy and flood season. The event aimed to raise community awareness and promote responsible behaviour during outdoor activities and camping seasons.

The event witnessed wide attendance and interaction from residents and visitors, with the participation of several government entities, including the Hafr Al-Batin Health Cluster and Civil Defense. It also featured volunteer teams such as the Injaz Volunteer Team, “Saqyahum” Association, and Hummam Volunteer Team, in addition to private sector entities that presented awareness and guidance materials and products.

The Municipality’s Emergency and Crisis Center participated through an awareness pavilion that provided guidance programmes on flood risks and safe camping locations. The event also included a specialized seminar addressing prevention methods and enhancing community awareness in dealing with various weather conditions.

The event coincided with the Municipality’s announcement of the launch of winter camps at several designated locations across the governorate, supporting its efforts to organize the camping season, ensure public safety, and preserve the environment.

The “Hala Bilwasm” event is an extension of Hafr Al-Batin Municipality’s efforts to promote environmental awareness and enhance quality of life, in alignment with the objectives of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing in raising awareness and strengthening social responsibility among community members.
