Hafr Al-Batin Municipality’s Central Food Laboratory Obtains International ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Accreditation

The Central Food Laboratory at Hafr Al-Batin Municipality has obtained the international ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation after fulfilling all technical and administrative requirements related to quality standards and efficiency in conducting laboratory tests.

This accreditation represents a significant achievement that reflects the Municipality’s commitment to applying the highest standards of quality and food safety within its inspection system, enhancing the reliability of laboratory analysis results, protecting public health, and improving the level of municipal services provided to beneficiaries.

Hafr Al-Batin Municipality confirmed that obtaining this international accreditation serves as official recognition of the laboratory’s technical competence and its ability to conduct accurate and highly reliable analyses in accordance with internationally recognized standards.

This achievement is part of the Municipality’s ongoing efforts to develop the municipal work system, improve service quality, and adopt best practices in health and laboratory inspection, in alignment with the objectives of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing and Saudi Vision 2030.
