Hafr Al-Batin Municipality Continues Preparations for the Rainy Season by Cleaning and Maintaining Stormwater Drainage Networks

As part of its proactive preparations for the rainy season, Hafr Al-Batin Municipality has intensified its field efforts to clean and maintain stormwater drainage channels and networks across various neighbourhoods in the governorate, ensuring infrastructure readiness and improving drainage efficiency during rainfall.

The Municipality explained that specialized teams are continuing to implement a comprehensive plan that includes removing sediments and waste from drainage manholes, culverts, and ground openings, in addition to maintaining metal covers and collection points to ensure the smooth flow of rainwater without obstacles.

These efforts are part of an integrated annual programme carried out by the Municipality before the rainy season, aiming to reduce water accumulation in streets and neighbourhoods and enhance public safety.

Hafr Al-Batin Municipality confirmed its commitment to continuing field monitoring and maintenance operations around the clock. It also urged residents to cooperate and follow the instructions and guidelines issued during rainy conditions to ensure their safety and protect properties, while maintaining smooth traffic flow and supporting the effectiveness of field efforts.
