Hafr Al-Batin Municipality Organizes “Digital Awareness Day” to Enhance Technical Awareness and Promote Innovation Culture

In the presence of Hafr Al-Batin Municipality Mayor Eng. Khalaf bin Hamdan Al-Otaibi, Hafr Al-Batin Municipality, represented by the Digital Transformation Department, organized the “Digital Awareness Day” event aimed at enhancing digital awareness and promoting a culture of innovation in the workplace. The event comes as part of the Municipality’s efforts to support digital transformation in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

The event witnessed wide participation from students of the University of Hafr Al-Batin, students of the Technical College, and several male and female students from schools across the governorate. Participants had the opportunity to explore the latest technologies, interactive digital experiences, and innovative solutions in smart municipal services and digital business management.

During the introductory tour, attendees explored various digital platforms showcasing the Municipality’s efforts in adopting technological transformation and artificial intelligence applications. The event also highlighted the “Fikrah” platform, an internal initiative platform that enables employees to submit ideas and transform them into practical solutions, contributing to improving the work environment and enhancing the quality of services provided to beneficiaries.

Hafr Al-Batin Municipality confirmed that organizing Digital Awareness Day is an extension of its continuous efforts to keep pace with technological advancements and enhance digital awareness among employees and community members. The Municipality emphasized that strengthening digital culture represents a key pillar in building an innovative work environment and a sustainable knowledge-based society, supporting comprehensive digital transformation within its strategic plans.
