His Excellency Eng. Khalaf bin Hamdan Al-Otaibi, Mayor of Hafr Al-Batin Municipality, inaugurated the "Bastat Khair Saudi Arabia" initiative in Hafr Al-Batin on Saturday, 15 March, in the presence of the Chairman of the Hafr Al-Batin Chamber and the Director of the Social Development Bank Branch. The event was launched in a distinctive Ramadan atmosphere, combining a unique shopping experience with authentic heritage inspired by the identity of Hafr Al-Batin Governorate. The market stalls were designed in a traditional style that reflects the governorate's heritage, with the participation of 60 vendors, providing visitors from within and outside the governorate with a unique shopping experience while supporting street vendors, mobile cart operators, and kiosk owners.

The initiative is supported by the Street Vendors Support, Development, and Empowerment Team at the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, in collaboration with several local partners, including the Hafr Al-Batin Chamber, Tara'of Association, Durrah Women's Association, Al Bir Charitable Society, and the Social Development Bank. The initiative aims to stimulate economic activity and support small enterprises within an organized environment that reflects the spirit of the holy month.

The Ramadan market welcomes visitors with a diverse shopping experience featuring traditional foods, handcrafted products, heritage items, interactive workshops, and a variety of entertainment activities that contribute to the distinctive Ramadan atmosphere.

Hafr Al-Batin Municipality also invites residents and visitors to visit the market and enjoy its unique Ramadan ambiance, noting that the initiative will continue until the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan. The event provides an organized and supportive environment for street vendors, in line with the Kingdom's efforts to promote the distinctive identity of Ramadan and support small enterprises.
