Hafr Al-Batin Municipality is preparing to launch the national initiative "Bastat Khair Saudi Arabia", with the support of the Street Vendors Support, Development, and Empowerment Team at the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing. The initiative aims to support street vendors, mobile cart operators, and kiosk owners by establishing an integrated Ramadan market that combines a vibrant shopping experience with the authentic spirit of the holy month.

The market will serve as a distinctive destination for residents and visitors of Hafr Al-Batin, offering a unique shopping experience featuring a wide range of local products, including traditional foods, handcrafted goods, and heritage-inspired products that reflect Saudi culture. The programme will also include workshops and advisory sessions delivered in collaboration with the Hafr Al-Batin Chamber, Durrah Women's Association, Tara'of Association, Al Bir Charitable Society, and the Social Development Bank. Visitors will also enjoy a welcoming Ramadan atmosphere enriched with cultural and recreational activities that add a unique character to the market.

The Municipality affirmed that this national initiative forms part of the Kingdom's broader efforts to support and empower small businesses, stimulate economic activity across Saudi cities, and reinforce the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing's initiatives through its Street Vendors Empowerment Team. The initiative also contributes to enhancing the distinctive Ramadan identity of local markets while creating sustainable opportunities for entrepreneurs and small business owners.

The "Bastat Khair Saudi Arabia" market will open on 15 Ramadan and continue until the end of the holy month, offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy the unique Ramadan atmosphere while shopping in a well-organized marketplace that supports and empowers street vendors.
