Hafr Al-Batin Municipality is preparing to celebrate Saudi Founding Day by organizing a diverse programme of heritage, cultural, and entertainment events over two consecutive days, 21–22 February 2025. The celebrations will take place at multiple locations across Hafr Al-Batin Governorate, including Flaij Al-Shamali Park, North Park, and the affiliated municipalities of Al-Dhibiyah and Al-Sadawi.

Preparations began well in advance, with the Municipality decorating public squares, major roads, and public facilities throughout the governorate. Saudi flags have been displayed across streets and intersections, while public parks and designated event venues have been prepared to welcome visitors. The Municipality has also enhanced the urban landscape by installing heritage-themed displays and decorative lighting inspired by the occasion, creating a festive atmosphere that reflects the spirit and significance of Saudi Founding Day throughout the city.

The celebration programme features the Kings Exhibition, showcasing the history of the Saudi State and its leaders, providing visitors with an opportunity to explore the Kingdom's historical journey from its foundation to the present day. In conjunction with the Year of Handicrafts, visitors will also enjoy the Artisans' Tent and the Traditional Market, where traditional handicrafts, heritage products, and authentic local goods offer a glimpse into the Kingdom's rich cultural heritage. In addition, dedicated photography areas and a heritage mural will provide visitors with memorable settings to capture and commemorate the occasion.

A variety of live performances will further enrich the celebrations, including the Saudi Ardah, traditional Samri performances, and roaming folk performance groups entertaining visitors throughout the day. A heritage storyteller will take audiences on an engaging journey through key moments in Saudi history, while the programme will also feature a horse parade adorned with national flags and patriotic emblems, together with the Steps of the Founding community walk, bringing together walking enthusiasts in the governorate's parks.

To foster a welcoming family atmosphere, the Municipality has designated family seating areas and traditional gathering spaces where visitors can enjoy an immersive heritage experience inspired by the Kingdom's rich past. These celebrations reflect Hafr Al-Batin Municipality's ongoing commitment to commemorating national occasions, strengthening public awareness of the Kingdom's history, and preserving its cultural heritage in support of the aspirations of Saudi Vision 2030 for future generations.
