Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, Hafr Al-Batin Municipality participated in the Eastern Province Roads and Transport Forum, held on Tuesday, 11 February 2025, at the Sheraton Hotel in Dammam. The Municipality's participation reflects its ongoing commitment to advancing the transport and road sector and enhancing infrastructure in line with sustainable development objectives.

The Municipality affirmed that its participation through a dedicated exhibition booth underscores its commitment to developing the roads and transport network across Hafr Al-Batin Governorate. During the forum, it showcased its key completed and upcoming infrastructure projects aimed at improving traffic flow, reducing congestion, and enhancing road safety and security standards.

The Municipality's pavilion was honored by the visit of His Royal Highness the Governor of the Eastern Province, accompanied by His Royal Highness the Governor of Hafr Al-Batin, along with a number of senior officials and distinguished guests, who were briefed on the Municipality's projects and initiatives.

As part of the forum's program, Eng. Ahmed Al-Sulami, Assistant Undersecretary for Projects at Hafr Al-Batin Municipality, delivered the Municipality's presentation, highlighting ongoing projects and future expansion plans. In addition, Eng. Ali Ashwi, Undersecretary for Projects, participated in a panel discussion addressing key challenges, recent developments, and future plans aimed at strengthening infrastructure and enhancing the quality of life across the governorate.

At the conclusion of the forum, His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz honored Hafr Al-Batin Municipality as a Strategic Partner of the Eastern Province Roads and Transport Forum, in recognition of its significant contributions to infrastructure development and its effective role in advancing the transport sector within the governorate.

The forum serves as a leading platform bringing together experts and specialists in the transport and infrastructure sectors to discuss the latest global solutions and best practices that contribute to improving road efficiency and enhancing the quality of life in cities. The Municipality's participation also provided an opportunity to showcase its achievements and future initiatives in support of the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
