Hafr Al-Batin Municipality, represented by its Central Laboratory, participated in the Second Hafr Al-Batin International Conference on Rural Health through a dedicated exhibition booth at the conference's accompanying exhibition, which commenced on 2 February 2025.

This participation reflects the Municipality's commitment to promoting public health by showcasing the latest technologies and innovative practices that contribute to safeguarding the health and well-being of the community.

The Municipality also highlighted the pivotal role of the Central Laboratory in environmental quality monitoring and laboratory testing, ensuring that healthcare and service facilities comply with the highest standards of health and safety.

The conference aims to highlight the most significant healthcare challenges facing rural communities while presenting the latest solutions and initiatives designed to enhance the quality of healthcare services.

The Municipality's participation underscores its ongoing contribution to advancing public health through environmental monitoring and laboratory testing. The Central Laboratory plays a vital role in supporting public health and ensuring the quality and safety of food by conducting accurate tests and analyses to verify compliance with health and environmental standards.

The Central Laboratory's key objectives include ensuring the quality and safety of food and water, monitoring consumer products, protecting public health, strengthening health inspection and regulatory oversight, enhancing laboratory services, and contributing to the realization of Saudi Vision 2030.

In line with this commitment, Hafr Al-Batin Municipality continues to support events and conferences held across the governorate by providing suitable venues within its parks and public facilities and facilitating the necessary regulatory procedures to ensure their successful organization.
