As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen regulatory oversight and ensure compliance with the laws and regulations governing fees associated with sales, Hafr Al-Batin Municipality, represented by the Revenue and Collection Department and the Agency for Municipalities, in cooperation with the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority and the Ministry of Commerce, conducted joint field inspection campaigns targeting a number of establishments engaged in the sale of tobacco products across the governorate.

The inspection campaigns aimed to verify the extent of establishments' compliance with the applicable laws and regulations and to ensure adherence to the approved financial and regulatory requirements that promote compliance, accountability, and transparency within the sector.

These efforts form part of the Municipality's broader strategy to enhance regulatory oversight and achieve the highest standards of financial and administrative compliance, thereby contributing to consumer protection and the effective regulation of local markets.
