Hafr Al-Batin Governorate achieved a significant milestone by entering the global Smart City Index issued by the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) for the first time, ranking among the top 100 cities worldwide.
The assessment was based on criteria including afforestation and green spaces, environmental sustainability, and smart urban services. This achievement reflects an advanced stage of integrated efforts among the Municipality’s departments and affiliated municipalities, in line with the national direction toward sustainable smart cities aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.
